Terms

Gift Processing

Please allow 3 business days once an order is placed for our gift boxes to be processed.  If you need your order on or by a specific date email shea@southernoakgiftcompany.com before the order is placed and we will try our best to make sure you are completely satisfied. 

Food Allergy Disclaimer

All Southern Oak Gift Co. clients and their gift recipients are encouraged to read food product labels before consuming.  Any non-labeled food always has the risk of possible allergen contamination.  Southern Oak Gift Co. will not assume liability for any reactions to food consumed, including labelled and non-labelled food products.
Shipping & Delivery
We ship all gifts through UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail.  If you are in need of a faster delivery, please email shea@southernoakgiftcompany.com before the order is placed, for a shipping quote. 
It is the responsibility of the buyer to provide accurate and complete shipping/delivery information.  Correct and complete information is is required to avoid additional fees as well as delays in your order.  Be sure to include accurate shipping information including full name, street address, apartment number or suite number and zip code.  If an item is returned to us due to incorrect shipping address or recipient refusal, we will charge a re-delivery fee. If an item is forwarded by carrier due to incorrect shipping information, a $15.00 address correction fee is charged to us and in turn will be charged to you. We cannot offer a refund on orders or delivery charges if an item is returned to us due to incorrect delivery address or recipient refusal. If you wish to request a signature confirmation for your package, for a small additional fee, please let us know at the time of your order.

Returns

Due to the handmade nature of each gift box, we do not offer returns. If for some reason you or your recipient are unsatisfied with your purchase, please let us know at shea@southernoakgiftcompany.com and we will do our very best to resolve the issue. 

Substitutions

We pride ourselves in using local, small-batch artisan businesses, and as a result some products may become unavailable to us from time to time.  In the event a product is unavailable at the time of order, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss substitutions.  If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, we will substitute with an item of equal or greater value and as close to your original item as possible. 

Marketing

Southern Oak Gift Co. reserves the right to include a business card inside each gift. We also reserve the right to publish finished products on our website and social media. 

Damages

Products and packaging may shift during delivery and this is not considered damage or a defect.  If there has been damage to your gift during deliver,y please contact us immediately. In the unfortunate event of damaged products, we require notification within 48 hours of delivery.  For products damaged during shipping, please keep all original packing material for courier inspection in order to file a claim with our shipper.
